Kentucky Bluegrass
A-34 stands up to heavy traffic, makes maximum use of fertilizers
and is aggressive in its growth so it is a favorite of sod growers.
A-34 takes up
to 65% shade and can be mowed to as close as half an inch. When toughness
and beauty count, specify A-34. A-34 is classified as an Aggressive type.

choice for turfgrass professionals. Bedazzled also makes an excellent variety
to blend with other bluegrasses from TMI. Bedazzled is classifed as an America

Bewitched Kentucky Bluegrass
Bewitched (A99-2041) is a compact type with a low compact growth
habit which makes it an excellent candidate for golf course fairways
and sod farms due to it’s reduced vertical growth rates and
1/2 inch height of cut. Bewitched is excellent for blending with
America types and Midnight types because it possesses disease resistance
which the other types do not. |

Blackberry
Kentucky Bluegrass
Blackberry (A99-3108) is an America Type Bluegrass. Within the
group of compact types, this cultivar exhibits similar growth and
performance characteristics
of the variety “America”.
Blackberry has a higher density and finer leaf texture than most
other compact types. It’s low, compact growth makes for excellent
turf including golf course fairways because it can be mowed at
1/2 inch cutting height. While good
in shade, Blackberry possesses moderate winter dormancy and high summer
patch and powdery mildew resistance. |

Bravado
Kentucky Bluegrass
Bravado (A96-1353) is a compact type Kentucky bluegrass. It is
characterized by a low, compact growth habit and possesses good
to excellent resistance to
leaf spot disease. I t forms highly attractive turf after green-up in spring.
Performance during summer heat and drought stress can be variable, with
Bravado producing very good turf quality. Bravado also has excellent
resistance to
strip smut disease. |

Brooklawn
Kentucky Bluegrass
The latest generation of
Kentucky bluegrass hybrids promises to re-define the elite bluegrass
market.
This selection
performs
well in various soil types and can be maintained at a 1/2 to 2 inch height
of cut. Brooklawn has improved disease resistance and grows well under a
variety of climatic conditions. An excellent replacement for BVMG types.
Brooklawn is classified as a Shamrock type. |
